Elvis Rockin' the Charts

This new game in the “Elvis” franchise is also the latest game in IGT’s Multi-Level Progressive series. The base game is a three-reel quarter or dollar stepper, in IGT’s new “S AVP” series, which apples the Advanced Video Platform operating system to stepper games. It is available in nine-line or 15-line configuration.
The game is set up as three base slots under a giant progressive display, with four in-house progressive jackpots and a wide-area MegaJackpots top award. There are two initial base games, both popular IGT classic reel-spinners: “Double 3X4X5X Pay” and “Triple Red Hot 7s.”
The in-house progressives are won through IGT’s “Lucky Coin Bonusing” system. When the “Lucky Coin” lands on the reels, the “Elvis Rockin’ the Charts Free Games” feature is initiated. The sound system blares Elvis hits as the initial eight free games begin at the lowest progressive level. When Elvis symbols appear on any of the paylines during the free spins, color LED reel lighting highlights the winning symbol and the player is awarded one point per symbol.
Accumulated points help the player climb to the next progressive level. As a player moves from one progressive level to the next, he banks what he’s won and is also awarded eight additional free spins, up to a maximum of 32 total free spins. Points accumulate until the Diamond Level (fourth) progressive is awarded, or until no free spins are left.
According to the manufacturer, higher per-line wagers increase the frequency of the bonus round. The wide-area top progressive is won through a line combination.
