Duetto Partners with Konami

Duetto Research announced the integration of its Duetto GameChanger hospitality profit optimization software with casino management systems produced by Las Vegas-based Konami Gaming.

Connectivity with Konami allows Duetto to leverage rich customer data that includes gaming as well as non-gaming spend for more sophisticated room pricing recommendations and offers, according to the company.

“Total spend data from Konami allows us to price rooms down to the individual customer based on their individual profit potential,” said Marco Benvenuti, co-founder and chief analytics and product officer for Duetto. “This means better insights and more revenue for our casino resort and hotel customers. Our application is built to bring casinos the ability price all room types, channels and dates independently of each other to maximize profitability. These are powerful tools for resorts with a broad range of rooms and rates.”

Konami’s patron management system tracks customer spend throughout the entire casino resort. Customers can use the same loyalty card at the tables, slots, spa, restaurants, golf course and anywhere else. The associated loyalty program tracks total spend rather than simply accumulating points. As a result, valued customers earn better deals and comps based on their patronage.

“Guests should feel confident casino hotels will recognize and value their business in whatever form it takes,” said Steve Sutherland, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Konami Gaming. “This is the future of loyalty programs, and one good for both casinos and consumers. We anticipate a positive impact on profitability, guest experiences and operational efficiencies.”
