‘Chopped’ Chef Opening Hard Rock Restaurant

Marc Murphy, celebrity chef, restaurateur and a judge on the Food Network reality series Chopped, will open a new restaurant at the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa in November. The 250-seat venue—as yet unnamed—will offer a Mediterranean-inspired menu with Italian influences, serving lunch and dinner seven days.

Murphy’s signature dishes will include spicy lamb with tzatziki grilled flatbread, spinach ricotta gnudi with brown butter and sage and a dessert featuring a grilled pineapple with marscarpone, Moroccan honey and pistachios.

Designed with a Mediterranean seaside theme, the establishment also will feature a 25-seat, round zinc bar and a 50-seat area for private events.

Murphy opened the acclaimed Landmarc restaurant in New York City’s Tribeca neighborhood in 2004 and later opened a larger Landmarc location in Midtown.
