California’s governor has reappointed two members of one of the two commissions that oversee gaming in the Golden State.
Governor Jerry Brown reappointed Tiffany Conklin and Lauren Hammond to the California Gambling Control Commission.
Conklin has served on the commission since 2010. She was formerly an adjunct professor at Golden Gate University and served as a chief of staff for a California state senator for several years. Hammond is the principal of L. Hammond & Associates and served in the Sacramento City Council for several years.
Both positions require confirmation by the state Senate.
