Caesars Honors Community Heroes

Caesars Entertainment officials were joined by Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval at the Rio in Las Vegas last month to honor local businessman Larry Ruvo with the inaugural Caesars Community Hero Award, created to recognize local leaders whose philanthropic work has impacted the Las Vegas area.

Caesars also recognized several of its own employees who completed a great number of community volunteer hours.

Sandoval presented the Community Hero award to Ruvo, the Nevada senior managing director of liquor distributor Southern Wine & Spirits and the founder of Keep Memory Alive, a nonprofit that supports the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Downtown Las Vegas.
