Boyd Extends B Connected Mobile

Boyd Gaming recently announced the launch of B Connected Mobile, the groundbreaking program that permits players to access players club rewards on mobile devices, for the Android and iPad devices.

B Connected Mobile is the smart-phone extension of B Connected Online, Boyd Gaming’s online community of nearly half a million registered users. It is the first multi-property, loyalty program-based application of its kind available on three mobile platforms—iPhone, Android and iPad. A Blackberry version is now under development, and will be available early next year.

“B Connected Mobile stands out for its ease of use, breadth of information and broad compatibility,” said Paul Chakmak, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Boyd Gaming. “But what makes it truly unique is personalization. Based on your personal preferences, B Connected Mobile supplies you with individually tailored special offers, as well as the latest information from your favorite Boyd Gaming properties. It provides our customers with valuable information both before and during their visit, helping them get the most out of their entertainment experience.”

The latest versions of B Connected Mobile introduce a number of useful new features, including greater personalization—customers can now designate their preferences, allowing the app to be tailored to the individual needs and interests of the user—better communication between marketers and the player, and an improved engine allowing customers to book rooms using mobile devices.

Other existing features include: instant access to event information, schedules and special offers; “Locate Me,” a service that provides real-time information updates when a customer arrives at a property; “Slot Search,” a tool that helps customers find their favorite machines on casino floors; and the ability to track B Connected point balances in real time.
