Private slot and systems testing lab BMM achieved two milestones in the U.S. late last year.
In Ohio, the company announced it has been awarded the contract for analytical services related to random number generators by the Ohio Lottery.
Martin Storm, global president and CEO, considers the deal important for BMM North America, which achieved much success in 2010.
“Since BMM entered the U.S. market, we have been pursuing all of the various gaming markets,” Storm said. “We have been very focused on completing our licenses for casino-related testing services and, finally, I can say we are close. Being so close and having a well-established presence in North and South America, we have started to aggressively enter the lottery markets and we are certainly being well-received, which is refreshing.”
In Missouri, the gaming board approved the company’s license as an independent testing lab, a development that is also very significant, according to Storm.
“Missouri has long been identified by BMM as a critical jurisdiction for testing recognition,” Storm said, noting that the jurisdiction has some of the highest standards in the U.S.
