Balkan Region Gross Gaming Market

A report by Media & Entertainment Consulting Network puts the annual gross gaming market of what it identifies as the Balkan region at €4.5 billion in 2007-about .8 billion at current exchange rates. The amount wagered was near €25 billion. Countries included in the report were Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Turkey. Omitted were Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Macedonia.
