Aviation Club de France Joins PartyGaming's French Venture

PartyGaming will be providing live poker venue Aviation Club de France with a white-label online poker room when the French online gaming market opens to competition.

The new online room ACFPoker will pool its players with the rest of PartyGaming’s French network, which includes sites for horserace betting operator PMU and TV broadcaster AB Groupe.

The Aviation Club has been the center of French poker since the historic private club began spreading the game in the early 1990s. Situated on the Champs Elysees near the Arc de Triomphe, the ACF was the first European poker room to host WPT television tournaments.

Jim Ryan, CEO of PartyGaming, said, “ACF is a great addition to our French poker network and allows us to directly connect with France’s offline poker players. This deal is a great strategic fit and together with our other B2B alliances in France, we are determined to establish a strong position in what we believe will become one of Europe’s largest poker markets.”
