The Sphinx WAP jackpot system developed by Atronic for the casinos of Vivere Entertainment Group in Greece is proving popular with the clientele.

“Players have reacted very positively to the new jackpot concept, even prior to its launch thanks to our extensive promotional campaign accompanying the jackpot introduction,” said Mounir Al Baboul, general manager of Casino Rio and slots director for Vivere. “The highlight of the campaign was the festive WAP launch celebration that took place in all three casinos simultaneously. Once the jackpot started running, players immediately began playing the new games.”

Al Baboul said that excitement has continued to build, with the jackpot awarded twice, for €72,949.50 and €55,766.32, shortly after going live.

Sphinx WAP is available on 50 machines at the casinos Rio, Xanthi and Corfu. Atronic also provided a customized signage and media package.

Project teams from Vivere and Atronic worked closely to design the Sphinx WAP, which is driven by Atronic’s Galaxis modular system. The three casinos were already operating Atronic games and systems solutions, including Star|Slots, Star|Marketing, Star|Jackpots and chip cash.
