Aruba's Palm Beach Selects Bally Systems

Slot and system manufacturer Bally Technologies announced a new contract with the Palm Beach Casino in Aruba for a suite of Bally Systems solutions.

According to the company, Bally completed its fastest system implementation in history at the casino, which was formerly the Casablanca Casino in the Westin Resort. The system was live within 21 days after the contract was signed.

The Palm Beach selected Bally’s SDS Windows slot floor monitoring system; CMP 11 casino accounting, player-tracking, and marketing solutions; and the Bally Power Bonusing suite for the reopening of the casino following a $1.5 million renovation.

Bally Systems dominates the Caribbean gaming market, with an overall 85 percent market share, including an 82 percent share in Puerto Rico, more than 83 percent in Aruba, and 100 percent in the Bahamas and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Aristocrat Adds Oasis Systems In California, Puerto Rico

Slot and system manufacturer Aristocrat Technologies announced it has completed a successful trial at California’s Chumash Casino Resort of its Oasis 360 “nCompass” platform, a media window for slot machines that directs players to amenities across a casino resort.

The nCompass product is the next-generation hardware platform of the Oasis 360 Sentinel casino management system. It utilizes an interactive media window on the main screen of the slot machine that offers dynamic gaming content to the player.

The nCompass has been installed on 34 Aristocrat games at the casino, and is used for messaging on the resort’s full line of amenities including the hotel, casino, showroom, spa and three restaurants.

“We are thrilled to have nCompass in our tool box,” said Alex Goodnature, business strategist for marketing and promotions at the casino. “Directly reaching our players is one of the best ways to market our business offerings, and nCompass empowers us to directly touch our customers on property, during their experience, to further enhance their total experience. Plus, nCompass allows us to use whatever resources we deem necessary to create our messaging, so we can be very creative in fulfilling on the Chumash brand promise.”

The company also announced that it has installed its Oasis 360 Sentinel 3 casino management system in the Embassy Suites Dorado Del Mar Beach & Golf Resort in Puerto Rico, marking its sixth installation on the island.

It is also the first-ever installation in Puerto Rico of the Sentinel 3 version of Oasis 360. The software suite custom-built for Dorado Del Mar Casino allows the casino to customize programs to enhance operational efficiencies and provide added benefits for players.
