AGEM April 2024 Recap

AGEM April 2024 Recap

• Due to the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention in Anaheim, California, there was not a monthly gathering for April 2024. During the event, AGEM attended and presented its annual contribution to the Chairman’s Education Fund in support of scholarship and educational opportunities for tribal members. The next monthly AGEM meeting will take place via Zoom on May 14, at 8 a.m. PST.

• With a new financial year beginning on April 1, the AGEM membership renewal process remains ongoing. AGEM appreciates continued communications from members to update company and contact details within the AGEM database as the organization migrates to a more efficient communication platform.

• AGEM continues its efforts to serve and engage with members in the months and years to come. Regulatory engagement and advocacy efforts for the supplier sector remain a priority, as does AGEM’s support for responsible gaming, charitable, philanthropic and industry endeavors. In addition, AGEM will pursue more networking opportunities among its membership, whether in Las Vegas or around other industry gatherings across the globe. To build on the success of AGEM’s first social gathering at ICE 2024 in London, AGEM looks forward to hosting and sponsoring networking events in Toronto at the Canadian Gaming Summit in June 2024, in Barcelona, Spain during ICE 2025, and potentially others. Communication and collaboration among the global gaming supplier community is something that makes our industry special, so we look forward to bringing people together more in the future.
