ACS Celebrates 1,000th Axcess Order

Pleasantville, New Jersey-based slot manufacturer AC Slots announced that it has reached a significant operational and sales milestone with its 1,000th unit order for its 22V Axcess cabinet. The company introduced Axcess, its first proprietary slot platform, at October’s Global Gaming Expo.

“The gaming industry has enthusiastically embraced this new platform, reporting impressive game performance numbers from across North America,” said Jason Seelig, president of ACS. “We couldn’t be more excited to achieve this milestone in such a short amount of time.”

Seelig attributes the fast takeoff to “the tremendous value and return on investment Axcess delivers to slot floor managers, as well as the overwhelming appeal of its game themes to players.”

Designed to be what the company calls a “game-changer,” the Axcess Series offers five cabinet designs and runs on a powerful Windows-based engine that does not rely on a server.

More specifically, the Axcess 22V, which is the first cabinet released in the series, was selected as a winner of the 2012 Slots Technology Award determined by a panel of gaming industry professionals. The game speaks 27 different languages, offers 28 unique themes and allows for instant zone modification, easy game configuration and progressive capabilities.

Axcess games are currently installed in Arizona, the Caribbean, California, Connecticut, Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, Mississippi tribal casinos, New Jersey, New York, Oregon and Wisconsin. More jurisdictions are coming online each week.

“Achieving a milestone like this takes a product that provides exceptional value,” Seelig said. “At ACS, we are very proud to offer our customers proven performance, and continuous innovation as we have for the past 30 years.”
