By GGB Staff   Thu, Apr 03, 2008

Storm International is working to complete a casino and hotel project in San Jose, Costa Rica, by July. The casino will feature 10 tables and 170 slots to start, with capacity for expansion as needed. The hotel will have 60 rooms.

The site of the development is an existing four-star hotel that Storm International is renovating. Total area is about 3,500 square meters. An adjacent property also has been purchased for additional amenities, including a multi-level parking garage.

Total investment in the property is about $5 million.

Storm International is reportedly ready to abandon its original Russian market if the situation there does not change, according to Bloomberg. The report also said the company will open a casino in Armenia this year.
