Leading table game supplier Gaming Partners International Corporation announced the appointment of Gregory Gronau as executive vice president and chief operating officer, effective immediately. Gronau will assume duties that include management of the company’s U.S. and Mexico operations conducted through its subsidiary, Gaming Partners International USA, Inc.
The hiring is part of a succession plan necessitated by the planned retirement of longtime President and Chief Executive Officer Gerard Charlier, who is stepping down in September 2009.
Gronau was most recently president and CEO of Class II supplier Cadillac Jack. He previously was VP of operations for Shuffle Master, Inc. and for WMS Gaming.
