Fine Point Adds Consultants
The Fine Point Group, the consulting firm formed by former Harrah’s marketing executive Randall Fine, announced the addition of two consultants to its team.

Chris Colwell, a longtime casino operations executive who held top positions at Harrah’s Entertainment and Station Casinos as well as a stint on the supplier side in executive positions at Bally Technologies, rejoins the firm from Station, where he has headed development projects since he left Fine Point Group last year.
Colwell will lead the Fine Point Group’s move from mainly marketing and IT consultation into operations.

On the IT side, the company has hired Stan Calder, a former Bally software engineer with 25 years of experience in database marketing, analysis and information technology.
Calder was with the Disney Corporation before being recruited by Harrah’s Entertainment in 2000 as corporate relationship marketing analyst.
“We are very excited to have Chris and Stan join our team as we continue our search for the strongest analytic talent in the industry,” said Fine, who is Fine Point’s managing director.
