Casino 2000 in Luxembourg is in the midst of a €26 million expansion of its non-gaming facilities.

Begun in March 2009, the “Salon les Roses” project combines an event space with a gallery and guest accommodations. Included is an apartment-hotel with five stories of guest rooms, two penthouse suites, reception rooms, and spa and sauna facilities. The new accommodations will augment the casino’s existing 28 rooms and three suites.

The Salon les Roses is expected to open in spring 2011.

Situated in the spa town of Mondorf-les-Bains, Casino 2000 is the country’s only casino. Gaming is available at seven tables and 280 slots.
