By GGB Staff   Fri, Nov 05, 2010

The recent SAGSE Buenos Aires trade show drew more than 7,900 visitors, reports the organizer of the annual gaming trade show. Attendees came from over 55 countries and from as far away as China.

“SAGSE’s success is just another example that the Latin American gaming market is like no other place in the world,” said Giorgio Gennari Litta, president of Monografie, which organizes SAGSE. “This year there have been outstanding and innovative products that revolutionized the industry and we have successfully opened a new pavilion dedicated to poker. Other sections that were doing well were online gaming and amusement.”

Alan Burak, commercial and show manager of SAGSE, said, “We were very satisfied this year. We have fulfilled our commitment as those responsible for the main event in Latin America. This year we grew 30 percent in terms of exhibition space and the quality of visitors was higher. At the show you could feel a constant atmosphere of buyers and executives taking decisions. SAGSE is, was and will be the most important event on the Latin American calendar.”

Next year 2011 SAGSE Buenos Aires will take place on November 9, 10 and 11 at the same Costa Salguero convention center.
