Dining on Classics Amidst the Contemporary
Wynn Las Vegas announced the opening of a new restaurant on its Lake of Dreams coming this November. Lakeside Grill, headed by Executive Chef David Walton, will offer a modernized version of classic American meals to its patrons in a contemporary atmosphere.
The concept of Lakeside revolves around guests enjoying comfort food staples in a trendy lounge-like dining area.
“I wanted to illuminate the interiors through the use of various white textures, and by opening up the walls to bring guests closer to the nightly water show,” Wynn’s Executive Vice President of Design Roger Thomas said in a press release.
Walton, who also heads Wynn’s more traditional SW Steakhouse, plans to include a variety of favorite American dishes on the menu like Maine lobster, specialty pizzas, and meatballs, all with slight alterations that will yield the unique meals the chef has become known for. Desserts a la carte by Executive Pastry Chef Kimberly Valdez will compliment the main courses.
