With this video slot, Multimedia Games combines stacked symbols and wild symbols with a potentially long-running free-game bonus event to create good time-on-device for the player and relatively low volatility for the operator.

Carnival in Rio uses a 50-line base game with a festive party theme depicting the nightclubs of Rio. The company is making this game available in both Class II (pictured) and Class III versions.

Three, four or five scattered bonus symbols trigger the free-spin bonus. During free games, symbols depicting dancers on marquees for various nightclubs—the Copacabana, Leblon, etc.—become wild. These symbols fill the entire reel when they appear, and combine with stacked jackpot symbols for multiple wins.

Free spins can be re-triggered during the free game rounds up to a potential total of 70 free games. The maximum bonus potential is over 300,000 credits.

Stacked jackpot and wild symbols appear on all five reels throughout the primary game.

The Class II version features a changeable bingo card on the company’s Mini-VGA Bingo Touchscreen display. Player-configurable or operator-configurable denominations range from pennies through quarters.
