JCM Global has re-launched the Paycheck 4 printer, known as the fastest thermal printer being used for gaming applications.

The Paycheck 4 is produced by printer manufacturer Nanoptix, Inc., but is being re-launched carrying the JCM Global brand under an agreement between JCM and Nanoptix announced in June.

With its print of 250 mm (9.8 inches) per second in monochrome mode, Paycheck 4 can print an entire cash-out ticket in 0.6 seconds. According to the company, that’s faster than any other printer available for ticket-in/ticket-out slot machine applications.

The print head of Paycheck 4 also leads the industry in endurance and memory capacity, with a reported life span of approximately 640,000 slot cash-out tickets and 8 megabytes of standard memory, allowing for the storage of a complete range of fonts, images, logos and bar codes for customization of tickets.

Other special features of Paycheck 4 include a unique illuminated anti-jamming bezel, ability for hot-swapping, an easy paper path access and a diagnostic USB port.
