Aruze Gaming America, the Las Vegas-based subsidiary of Aruze Corporation of Japan, announced that it has been approved by the Louisiana Gaming Control Board to sell slot machines to the state’s 14 casinos and four racinos.

“Louisiana is a key territory to the Southern region, having a market size of just over 30,000 machines,” said Steve Walther, vice president of marketing for Aruze. “This approval gives us an opportunity to expand our presence in the region and bring our innovative products to new customers.”

Aruze is now licensed in 108 gaming jurisdictions in North America.
