Goa casino regulations coming soon
The state government of Goa, India has announced it will finalize new casino regulations within the next two months. Times of India reports that the announcement from Home Minister Ravi Naik followed a claim by opposition leader Manohar Parrikar that the offshore casinos operating in Goan waters were responsible for an increase in abortions locally. The opposition leader took it upon himself to attribute this phenomenon to “wrongful activities” on the floating casinos and is demanding regulations on the entry of women and children.
