Michelle DiTondo recently was named senior vice president of human resources at MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas. In this position, she will oversee operations and direct strategy for all human resources activities and functions at the company’s 15 properties, as well as chair the Human Resources Council, made up of the top HR executives at each MGM Resorts property. The company has about 62,000 employees.

Previously vice president of human resources at Mandalay Bay, DiTondo joined MGM Resorts in 2006. She also was vice president of human resources at New York-New York.

DiTondo has more than 20 years of experience in human resources management, including positions with Caesars Entertainment, American Express, First Security Corporation and the Army & Air Force Exchange Service.
