Brosig, Sock Named At Margaritaville

Thomas Brosig recently was named president and chief executive officer at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Karen Sock was named general manager and chief operating officer at the casino, which currently is being built in east Biloxi and is scheduled for a summer 2012 opening.

Casino veteran Brosig co-founded Grand Casinos, Inc. with Lyle Berman. He managed the development of seven casinos, including four Native American. Sock formerly was general manager of the Grand Casinos in Biloxi and Tunica.

The $48 million Margaritaville Casino will have a 68,000-square-foot casino and restaurant, plus retail areas, an events center and a 27-slip marina.
