Table game supplier TCS John Huxley announced that it has completed delivery of all the tables, electronic displays and other live gaming devices for the casino on the 150,000-ton Norwegian Epic cruise ship. The ultra-modern ship, launched last summer 2010, has berths for 4,200 passengers and the largest casino in the operator’s fleet.

The mix of 30 gaming tables includes LuminAR roulette tables, which feature an LED system that illuminates the winning results, and the proprietary game Casino Hold’em Poker. A fully automated roulette system featuring a Gemini wheel and requiring no dealer provides cashless gaming with bill acceptors and ticket printers. The casino also offers a variety of blackjack games and craps.

All of the tables were custom-designed using materials specified by the NCL design team. The order also includes the latest generation of e-FX Insignia number displays and Saturn roulette wheels.

“TCS John Huxley were very attentive to our requirements before, during, and after the order was delivered, making sure we were totally satisfied,” said Jim Abbas, vice president of casino operations for Norwegian Cruise Lines. “The tables look great, with the robust and practical design that we customized prior to building to match our operational and aesthetic needs.”
