Fine Point Group Hires New VP

The Fine Point Group of Las Vegas has hired Joseph C. Howard as one of the firm’s VPs. Howard, who joins FPG after accumulating 22 years of casino operations experience, will manage labor optimization and service improvement engagements as well as aide in the day-to-day running of the firm’s management contract clients.

Howard is leaving his post as regional vice president for Caesars Entertainment. His duties there included managing more than 500 employees in the firm’s Las Vegas region at Bally’s, Bill’s, Flamingo, Harrah’s, Imperial Palace, Paris, Planet Hollywood, O’Shea’s, and the Rio. Prior to his tenure at Caesars, Howard spent 11 years in management with Fitzgerald’s in the Tunica, Mississippi market.

Howard began his gaming career as a security officer in Reno, Nevada. He was a decorated United States Marine sergeant who served as a tank commander prior to joining the casino industry.
