Casino City Releases Online Gaming Report

Gaming publisher and distributor Casino City Press last month released the 710-page Internet Gambling Report, the 12th annual edition of the publisher’s spotlight on the world of online gaming.

Subtitled “An Evolving Conflict between Technology and Law,” the new edition of the report features a thorough review of the legal, sociopolitical, technological and business climate for internet gambling around the world from the industry’s top legal experts.

The report covers topics including privacy and IP considerations, data sharing, and prohibitory and regulatory challenges; and provides jurisdiction reviews of the U.K., Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Isle of Man, Alderney, Malta, the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America. At-a-glance boxes summarizing current business conditions in the various jurisdictions, which appear at the beginning of each discussion, are a new feature of the 12th edition.

“We worked with an excellent team of experts to update the book,” says Vin Narayanan, editor of the report, “paying particular attention to the dramatic legal developments in the European markets, where European nations and the European Court of Justices have rejected—for the most part—the one-market approach to gambling in favor of a nation-by-nation scheme to regulate online gambling.”

Casino City’s Internet Gambling Report is available in print for US $249.95 and via an online subscription service for US $399.95 at www.InternetGamblingReport.com. The online subscription includes all 35 chapters in the new print edition, an archive with over 60 chapters from previous editions, and exclusive access to over 150 reference documents not available in the print edition.
