Dr. Richard Thalheimer has been involved in many areas of business and economic research for over 30 years. He is president of Thalheimer Research Associates, Inc., an economic research and consulting firm in Lexington, Kentucky, founded in 1983.
In addition to his consulting business, he was a professor in the Department of Equine Business at the University of Louisville from 1989 through 2006. Thalheimer has consulted with, and generated economic research reports for, many entities in the racing and gaming industries, other industries, and local, state and national governments.
