Elo TouchSystems - Rear-Mount LCD Touch Monitors

Elo TouchSystems is using G2E to release a family of wide-aspect-ratio, rear-mount LCD touch monitors in sizes specifically geared to casino gaming. The monitors, available in 20-inch, 22-inch, 26-inch or 32-inch sizes, represent what the company calls an “innovative feat of engineering.”

     The new line of rear-mount touch monitors is available with Elo’s proprietary touch technologies, including the newly launched APR (Acoustic Pulse Recognition), IntelliTouch Surface Acoustic Wave, surface capacitive, and vandal-resistant SecureTouch Surface Wave. The comprehensive range of features include both analog and digital interfaces, multi-lingual on-screen display, mounting VESA standard and four L-brackets for mounting.

     Additional features include:

·         Best-in-class image performance

·         Integrated precision mini-bezel with water tight 0.5mm seal

·         Dual serial/USB (APR USB only at this time)

·         Long-lasting product cycle—enclosures controlled by Elo specifications and tooling

     “Starting with proven basic design from our desktop monitors, we engineer and build monitor specifically for the demanding requirements of the gaming and amusement industry,” says a company spokesman. “Our monitors are designed for touch—it’s not added as an afterthought from a different supplier.”
